Here's Manolo Santana and our very own Rafael Nadal holding a racquet used by Manolo the year he won Wimby during an event for Rafa's foundation on the 21st of April.
Boy, that racquet is decrepit and an antique. And is it just me or that racquet is longer than the ones they use nowadays? I'm too lazy to do research about this, but if no one answers me I will probably do it. Damn me and my sense of curiosity. Come on guys, take pity on a sick girl here.
Red on Rafa = one hot Spanish hunk.
And everytime I read/hear/see this guy's name I unconsciously tack on "Blahnik" behind it. Am I rambling? As if that's not all I do in this blog!

I think the "handle" area is longer, but the face is so much shorter that the over-all length might be near the same.
ReplyDeleteThank you for taking pity on a sick girl. Off to sleep for another day.
ReplyDeleteI wash just going to say that. They are heavy though, those wooden thingies.
ReplyDeleteI'll try to dig my moms old racket up and compare it to a new one :)

ReplyDeleteOMG I was just gonna write the exact same thing! LOL
Yo sister! ;-)
The red shirt looks awesome on Rafa, but even more than the color, I'm loving the way it hugs his biceps. It's giving me a little tease, not showing me all of it, leaving me desperate for more!
ReplyDeleteThey were heavy. I had a Stan Smith red/white/blue racket back in junior high. Of course, I mainly used it to hit a ball up over the fence so that I could could tell the PE teacher I'd lost my ball and spend the rest of PE "looking for it" near the railroad tracks...
ReplyDeleteYo sister! ;) So does that mean Rich is our brother??? lol!
