I've noticed that his pinkies are 'not right.' I don't know if he broke them or if they're just like that. But they're crooked in photos where they wouldn't be, normally. Maybe this is his 'clay feet.' You know, that one thing that every incredibly beautiful person has, that one slight imperfection. As far as imperfection go, this one is pretty minor.
He's got beautiful, sexy, soft looking hands, though... They're so hot even with blisters and sweaty tape on. *swoons* *dies* Any excuse to talk about Rafa's body parts, hey? (o:
Oh yeah, Babz, I know what they say... And after watching Rafa in those white shorts yesterday I think maybe "they" are right... *swoons again* *dies again*
OMG, I LOVE that outift!! Rafa, why? WHY didn't you wear that at the Aussie instead of that hideous pink patch shirt? natch is going to withhold love for 24 hours. *crosses arms and legs, sets timer* *checks watch* *taps foot*
My doctor friend says there isn't really such a thing as "double-jointed" - just people with hypermobile joints. I admit it freaks me out when I see Rafa with his thumb hyper-extended. It looks just like my uncle's did when he was young (and in a picture here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hypermobility). Turns out, my uncle's cool thumbs were due to Ehlers-Danlos which has now left him debilitated. Not that I really think Rafa has that (I don't think he could play like he does if he did)...it just does cross my mind when I see the hyper-mobility and hear about connective tissue problems like tendinitis.

TEE HEE the fact that this finger is called "pinky" in English cracks me up real bad. :D
ReplyDeleteNow Rafa's pinky is all over the place. It's a gift actually.

Dianne - I know it doesn't look quite "right" but I'm noticing some other tennis players have that "pinky pose" too.
ReplyDeletesonja - tell me about it! Now and then I hear or read a word that just totally cracks me up!
CC - you got that right. He's got big hands - and you know what they say about guys who have big hands...

He can hyper-extend most of his fingers and his thumb to a frightening extent as well.
ReplyDeleteMiri - I'm SO taking the pun of that, since we're talking about big hands and whatnot.
