Campaign Gingerotica... Commence!

So Wimbledon has finally arrived... and what do we Rafanatics do when Rafa's not playing?? Who do we support?

Me, I'm all about the Ginge Hotness right here. I know, I'm 60% blind or something, calling him that. Humor me. I don't believe 100% he will win this, not because he can't, but because he chokes. Here's hoping he won't choke against Federer.. in the final. Such is the power of my belief in Ginge.

What about you? Who's your backup player to win this Wimbledon?

  1. OK, so I will probably support Andy for the Wimbledon title.

But Gingerotica...it just doesn't work. Believe me, I've tried to put Andy into all my Rafantasies the last couple of days, but...no. Nothing.

    What to do?

  2. There's a bunch of guys who I don't want to win, but otherwise, I'll probably be happy for whoever wins it. I'm just going to hope I see a lot of Tommy Haas.

    Oh, and naked Rafa.

  3. Hm, Tommy Haas... Not sure. I prefer Tommy Robredo!

But compared to Rafa, they're all oh so bleak...

  4. Yeah I'll also hop onto the Tommy Robredo bandwagon as far as hotness (read: Rafa substitution only) is concerned.

  5. I will definitely be supporting Muzz for this title. Want Nole to do very well too, but not sure he can win the whole thing (would be happy for him if he did manage it though). Am mad at Feli for taking away his hotness from Wimby before I even saw him bring it. Will rely on Tabasco to bring some much needed Spanish heat in the absence of our sexy Rafa (and now Feli).

  6. Just watched a tiny bit of Tabasco's game and it looks like he's growing his hair. Or maybe he'd just forgotten his Spanish hair gel, I dunno.

Feli doesn't do much for me, only hot thing with him is that I think he loves Rafa. And any man who fancies Rafa and wants him, I like...

  7. Funny, I heard that something was going on with Tabasco's hair, but sadly haven't him in action yet. Will have to find some photos from his match today. Feli doesn't really do anything for me when he's in his tennis gear, playing on-court. It's his off-court look that makes me sweat. And that's what I picture him in when he's playing, lol ;)

OK I need to get back watching Nole's match. He freaked me when he lost that first set. But he snagged the second. Yay.

This whole missing Rafa thing really sucks!!!! He's so well loved (and lusted after!) and such a force in the tennis world. I would willing to bet that you could almost FEEL his absence at the All England Club, you know what I mean? His energy and his presence are that captivating. Everyone's bummed! Even the broadcasters! I almost feel bad for the other guys who've pulled out (Baghdatis, Monfils, Ljubicic) because those are some big names. I felt so sad for them when I heard they were out, but obviously they're not the "big" story. That's such an indication of the magnitude of Rafa's absence.

    Sorry for the novel.

  8. Hey girls! I hope you will check back after play finishes, I will post results and all the interesting tidbits from today.

Jo, you can write a novel here anytime. ;)

  9. Hey, nobody said we all had to like the same thing (other than Rafa.) :D
    Different stroke for different folks.
    *thinks about stroking Rafa differently*

I'm feeling the magnitude of Rafa's absence (Rafabsence?) in my nether regions right now. ;)

Now THAT's how you rock a vest! :)

Nole is my #1, and Muzz is my backup.

If Muzz wins I'll be ecstatic, trust me;)

  14. CC, Please. You should be used to me by now. ;)

  15. HA HA, I know. My nethers are empty and sad! HELP, Rafa! Bring your sexy back! ;)

  16. Even now, *I'm* still not used to you, natch.

  17. Thanks, chica. I shall!

  18. Oh, it was just that...the stroking bit kind of made my evening... Still does!

  19. Wow. Muzz is looking all kinds of hot in that picture.

I'm rooting for Muzz and Nole this year. After that as long as it's not Federer I'm good. But Go Muzz and Ajde Nole!

  20. See? I knew I wasn't crazy when my hormones go all kinds of excited when I see him.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Dude, he's hot. Pasty as hell, but hot.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Well I'm going with Nole and then Muzz or anyone not named Roger Federer.

About hotness there's always Ferru and also Gonzo. Ginge, well the guy is a butterface, sorry babz, but I would hit that with a bag over his face. About Boredo, yes I call him that, the dude is hot but he has no personality. http://img196.imageshack.us/img196/3586/128rc3.jpg Totes hot.

Just to be clear no one could replace Rafa. SW19 totally lost the shine this year.

  23. How could I forget Marat? Marat hotness is just epic. I think I'm just trying to let go and learn to live without Marat at the tourneys because this is his last year*tear*
