Let's Talk Fashion: What Rafa's Wearing For Montreal

Rumor is..

Rafa's wearing the Nike Men's Fall Double Bold Polo ($60) to his comeback for the season in Montreal.

And the Nike Men's Fall Woven Long Shorts ($55) to hug those bitable bubble butt.

Shoes? The Nike Air Max Breathe Cage II, $115.

I haven't found anything about the head/wristsbands, but I'd be surprised if they're not yellow or white.

The warmup gear:

Nike Men's Fall Trend Woven Warmup, $140.

What do you think? You like? Or have we seen the blue one too many times already?

  1. Rafa always looks hot in bright blues so I'm def OK with the top (remember IW, Miami, & clay season 2008? I thought that was a hot outfit from last year). The shorts I'm afraid might be too busy with all the checkering?? But I often find that the clothes take on a new level of hotness when Rafa steps inside them. I remember being nervous about his AO gear this year....man did he prove me wrong. ESPECIALLY with the night-time stuff. HOT!

P.S. love all the warm up jackets he's had this year. They're fun.

  2. Eh? Clay season 2008 was.. green? I need to check.

The AO outfits are epic. Best one Nike came up with for Rafa yet.

  3. Bluuuuuue!! <3 I was sad when Nole had to change his blue shirt for the white/red one, but I feel better now that Rafa will be wearing ocean blue. He always look good in blue!

  4. He wore that sexy green/grey get-up only at RG & Queen's....but prior to that (i.e. Monte Carlo, Hamburg, Rome) he wore white pants with a bright blue top, and then his headband was blue & white stipes. And I believe he wore it at Miami & IW too (Miami for sure..I remember the final). Post some pics - it's hot!! ;)

  5. Love the turquoise (how the hell do you spell that)! Think that maybe the dots on the top AND checked is a teeny bit much, but only a teeny...
Don't like that yellow on the shoes, though. Ugly yellow.

The Australian Open night wear shorts were fantastic, mainly because when Rafa bent down to receive serve and the camera zoomed in on his bum-bum you could see the outline of almost *everything*. Or was that just me imagining/hoping/dreaming?

Oh, please come back soon Rafa...

  6. Oooh - I remember now. I think I've posted a Frisky Friday with that getup. ;)

  7. I think the "dots" and checks are okay because the dots are little squares - so kind of a repeat of the check motif instead of clashing with it. It would be awful, however, if they covered most of the shirt like the ones in the band. The subtle ones on the bottom part of the shirt work for me.

  8. I love it when he wears just the regular tshirts (ie. AO outfit). I kinda hate polos, mostly because I hate polos. However I do think this'll look great on Rafa.

  9. Blue tops yum yum. Polo verses T both look ok., but the shorts I agree with Johanne the shorts do look "too busy with the check". Prefere just plain. Mind you he looks great in anything ( please bring back the tiny shorts) Imagines Rafa in them. **faints**

  12. I wonder what made him go back to the Cage shoes, after switching to the Ballistics?? Maybe they didn't help the knees? I remember a video of him testing them and them not seeming flexible enough. Flove the shirt and the shorts, and well everything he wears. A.O. 09 night time gear....epic!

  13. With regards to the head/wristband combo, i hope he chooses some weird colour that totally does not match, again like the A.O. 09 night outfit with the lime green head/wristie combo :) My vote for this outfit? PURPLE !

  16. CC & SA, I'm with you on Rafa's new attire, especially in the AO, looked adorable when he won his 1st "hard court" Final! I find myself watching it frequently since I as well as ALL Rafafans have missed him beyond words. However, we want "our Rafa to be heathly so he will go on and surpass Federer's titles, and if he can adjust his schedule to fit his rigerous style of play which we, (myself, and the numerous Rafanatics) have witnessed. We as well as "The Man Himself" should be grateful to get this chance 'to enjoy Rafa and the excitement and dedication to his "sportivity".
Re; his new NIKE apparel, he has great taste and looks Fabulous in whatever he wears. "The clothes don't make the man, the man stands alone!!!!! `````````````````````````````

  17. Love the shoes. Love the shirt's pattern, though I'll need to see that colour on him to make a final judgement. Kinda really hate the shorts. Ugh. Nike needs to stop giving Rafa weird fashion choices.

  21. [...] thought the blue would be a much lighter shade as the one we’ve seen, but I have to admit this shade works very well with the yellow on his head and wristbands, which I [...]
